A Little Bit of Yesteryear

A little oil study, and really just me having fun.

I was playing with complementary colours, and with balance in the composition. The yellow of the lemon holds your eye and keeps the opposing purple of the background in check, and the red of the flowers is balanced by the amount of green in the leaves.
