Brittany, Ben & Delilah

Brittany had seen my work on the cruise ships many years earlier and always said one day she would own one. When she was looking for a statement piece for a wall, she asked her Life Uncut followers on Instagram for artist recommendations. My name came up, and the moment she saw my work again she remembered me. She had met someone special and was about to fly overseas to spend a few weeks with him. They had taken a photograph together that she absolutely loved, and she asked if I could paint a small piece in the style of the Women with Attitude collection to take with her as a gift. Every little detail went in: the clothing, his tattoo, her jewellery, the watch, her phone, the apartment, and of course Delilah, her beloved dog, who simply had to be part of the story. I also added a personalised message on the back. Ben, the man in the painting, absolutely loved it and has taken it with him as he travels from country to country.
