Fit for a Princess

This one was created for Jimmy Choo’s shop and studio office in London.

It came about after I was a guest of honour for him at the Malaysian International Shoe Festival, where he launched his new couture line following his separation from the Jimmy Choo brand. I was invited on stage with a painting called Sole Mates, to sign it before he did.

In the painting three ladies are trying on one of his designer shoes, and every one of them is wearing beautiful designer shoes of her own. On the sideboard there is a picture of Lady Diana, for whom he made what he called her pumps, and a tiara beside it. On the other side is a picture of his family.
